Frank Sinatra’s Gift Watch To Sammy Davis Jr. Up For Auction

The forthcoming Antiquorum scheduled to be held on June 11th has one more reason for you to be there — the Cartier Pasha watch. For starters, this was a gift form Frank Sinatra to fellow Rat Packer Sammy Davis Junior. There is even an inscription on the back that reads, “Sammy, I Luv Ya, F.A.S”. In fact, the auction has even got hold of a couple of pictures with David Junior wearing the watch. No wonder, the timepiece is such a highly collectible item.

All you Cartier fans, or Sinatra lovers or even devotees of the Rat Pack be pleased to know that the Pasha watch was made from 18K gold way back in 1987 (which is printed on to the watch).

Judging by the present times, you might have many reasons to believe that maybe Sinatra was not spending generously on this gift but it is not really so. Way back in the 80s, quartz movement based watches were more popular than mechanical ones. The Pasha watch might go off at a price between $10,000 and $20,000. The features also include, time, date with day, moon phase and second time zone.
