This would be the second meeting between Ralph Lauren and Oprah Winfrey, where in the last meeting between these high profile celebrities was conducted in the year 2002, when Ms. Winfrey interview the king of fashion for her magazine. In this extremely revealing interview, Ralph Lauren addressed the lingering question about his change of name from Lifshitz to Lauren when he was a teenager and he also cleared the air about his classic dressing style.
