Who would not want to live in a suite designed by Philippe Starck? The French designer can always be trusted to come up with ideas that are completely out of the box. Starcke collaborated with Alan Faena recently to come up with the most expensive suite in all of Latin America.
The Faena Hotel + Universe in Beunos Aires now boasts of Latin America’s costliest suite, the F Suite. The rates? An extravagant $9,500 a night. Elsewhere in the world, suite rates may come up to considerably higher, even touching $15,000 at times. Hotel costs tend to be a touch lower in Latin America, but the service at its luxury hotels are still top-notch.
The F Suite in the Faena Hotel + Universe is the perfect place to pamper yourself. Walk in and you cannot miss the majesty of the interiors designed by Starke in collaboration with Faena. Red velvet curtains grace the windows, offering the perfect backdrop to the Imperial-style furniture. There is a touch of Argentine tradition in the room that is done up in lapacho wood and arabasceto marble. Art enthusiasts will be delighted by the Murano glass chandelier. There are also portraits in oil of General and Eva Peron.
Located on the sixth floor, the super-expensive F Suite includes a living and dining area, two bedrooms, a kitchen and an outdoor terrace. There is also a master bathroom with a rain shower and, hold your breath, a Jacuzzi. The suite also has a separate residential entrance for guests. Plus, guests get to avail the services of an Experience Manager 24 hours a day. Sounds like high-end pampering to me.
