People who live in glass houses should not throw stones, so the old saying goes. But when you live in one of these elegant glass boxes, would you even want to hurl stones? Designed by Gandia Blasco, this transparent set-up is the bomb as far as outdoor infrastructure goes.
Gandia Blasco is well-known for its high-end furnishings for the outdoors. The new Cristal Box is an extension of its portfolio of luxury outdoor furnishings. The Cristal Box is the perfect idea for an outdoor gathering. If it is raining, even better. You can experience the pitter-patter of the raindrops without having to huddle beneath an umbrella. No more getting drenched to enjoy the rains.
Of course, the Cristal Box is not intended for the rains alone. The phenolic plate ceiling combined with the galvanized sheeting on the outer roof ensures that you are protected from the sun as well. This is an outdoor pergola system, so I guess you can persuade your favorite vines to climb up the Cristal Box’s aluminum frames. These frames are available in three versions – anodized, thermo-lacquered white and taupe. The inside flooring is crafted out of low-maintenance plastic and plant fibers.
Interested buyers can choose from among four variations of the Cristal Box. The furnishings that sit within these elegant and minimalist Cristal Boxes include recliners, dining sets, sofas and loungers. The furniture inside each Cristal Box is representative of the straight sharp lines of the box itself. No place for curves in these outdoor furnishings. The box theme pervades everything. Buyers will have to buy the glass separately, however.
