Southern California is one place that everyone wishes to stay at. The yearlong sunshine and the warm weather have encouraged those with beautiful bodies and loads of money to settle and stay there. In the year 1919, William Wrigley, Jr. bought Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California. The island later grew to be a refuge for extremely wealthy people who stayed there, and the numbers had swelled to 4,000.
Now, the Island is being refurbished at a cost of $11 million and would be thrown open to visitors in 2010. You would have a GPS ranger-guided walking tour and would be a great way to walk up to the 2,097-foot Mt. Orizaba. There is also the Sea Trek Undersea Adventure which would allow you to walk on the sea bed.
The Pavillion Hotel has been renovated and is just 17 second walk from the beach. You could choose to have your meals at the wonderful Avalon Grille and rest in the private cabanas. When the Island would be renovated, it would allow you to enjoy the most beautiful of views and sunset and that is in itself enough to make you happy.
