Eddie Jordan’s $53 Million Superyacht With Its Own Nightclub is Ready to Sail

Sunseeker International, the luxury yacht builder has completed the construction of its first flagship tri-deck Sunseeker 155 yachts and released it from its shipyard at Poole in Dorset for sea trials. It is the biggest project ever undertaken by the yacht builder and the yacht’s size, design and intricate detailing has the viewers in awe. The yacht was taken out of the yard by a radio controlled system and the people at large got the first opportunity to see the vessel in all its glory. The yacht has been declared sea worthy after undergoing rigorous shore based testing. The sea trials are scheduled to begin shortly.

The Yacht Was Under Development for 18 Months

The large but sleek yacht was commissioned by Formula 1’s Eddie Jordan. The former motorsports team Jordon owner is popularly known as ‘EJ’ and is a self-confessed ‘spender’. He was willing to pay for incorporating all his lavish design ideas. He has spent nearly £32 million which is $53 million approximately, on the new 155ft super yacht which has its own nightclub. After the sea trials the yacht will be handed over to him. Eddie had ordered for the yacht in 2012 and it has been under development for the last 18 months. The superyacht has a total of four decks with a nightclub, a lower deck day-room, and an exclusive ‘beach club’ stern with panoramic viewing platforms down the side.

The Yacht is Capable of a Top Speed of 22 knots

Stewart McIntyre, managing director at Sunseeker is extremely proud of the achievement of his company. The yacht weighing 200tons, features an innovative design and build process that has incorporated specifications and preferences highlighted by the owner. The yacht has been the talk of the industry since it was ordered. The yacht builder is all geared up to showcase their new creation to the world. The sleek vessel can achieve top speeds of 22 knots and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles as it boasts of a fuel tank with a whopping capacity of 60,000 liters. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in ultimate style and luxury. There is a captain’s cabin and accommodation for 10 crew members.
