Dunhill Brings Out an Interesting New “Voice” Campaign

Alfred Dunhill for the Spring Sumer 2011 has brought out “Voice”, an elegant and honest portfolio of three great British men: Sir David Frost of the Frost Nixon Fame, Harland Miller the much acclaimed British artist and author, and Charlie Siem the internationally acclaimed violinist. The pictures are in black and white and have the men dressed in their chosen Dunhill outfits.

Charlie Siem talks about the pressures of performing on the stage. Charlie’s tryst with music started at the tender age of three when he started learning how to play violin after an inspiring performance by the late maestro Yehudi Menhulin. Since then, he has created a formidable name for himself, playing at Windsor, Spoleto and St Moritz Festivals, and with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Israel Camerata, Bergen Philharmonic among others. And he is cute too!

Sir David Frost is world famous for his Frost/Nixon interview, the most watched news interview in the US, later made into an Oscar nominated film. He holds the distinction of being the only journalist to interview 8 British prime ministers and 7 US presidents. In the video he doesn’t talk about one of the many political leaders he has interviewed but a humble charity worker in Calcutta.

Harland Miller has received recognition as an artist for his exhibitions in New York, Berlin and New Orleans. He ventured into writing and achieved critical literary acclaim with his 2000 novel Slow down Arthur, Stick to Thirty. He talks about his school days that made him become aware of his artistic abilities.
