Designer Kinder Aggugini Creates Fashion Line For Macy’s

It is not what one would usually expect of Macy’s, but the fashion retail chain is going designer. The US-based retail brand has joined hands with designer Kinder Aggugini to come up with a designer collaboration series. What is more is that the first line in this fashion series is already out.

Aggugini’s collection for Macy’s is a capsule that comprises about 40 pieces. According to the designer, the collection is something on the lines of “Sid Vicious meets Coco Chanel”. Incidentally, London-based Aggugini has worked with several of the top international fashion brands like Calvin Klein, Versace, Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano.

After Ralph Lauren’s new luxury denim line, this is probably one of the best fashion news we have heard all month. Macy’s chief merchandising officer, Jeff Gennette, released a statement where he said that the launch of Aggugini’s line at Macy’s will catch the attention of Macy’s customers across the United States. Gennett added  that he was certain that customers would be keen to own Aggugini creations at reasonable prices.

This is a line that has something for every woman. You will find everything from soft cardigans and girly silk shorts to tailored leather jackets and Kimono dresses. Aggugini’s rock ‘n’ roll feel shines through, but these are ultimately clothes that are contemporary and feminine, and designed to suit most body types.

So what are you waiting for? Head to the closest Macy’s store now to get your Kinder Aggugini outfit from Macy’s. Alternatively, log on to the retain chain’s website, because the clothes will be available only for a limited period.
