Corum Pays A Tribute To The 50-Year-Old Admiral’s Cup Line of Watches

It’s not the first time that brand Corum is working on the Admiral’s Cup line of watches. From what we are told, it was some 50 years ago that the watch maker introduced this famous collection as a sporting tribute to the much reverred yachting regatta. And now, the company is all set to pay its tribute to the line that has been recognised as synoymous with luxury and high-end fashion.

Ten new pieces of the Minute Repeater Tourbillon 45 are being introduced to the Admiral’s Cup line. These chronographs are expected to feature a minute repeater complication quite similar to the one used in the collection before because the traditional mechanisms are not feasible for a sports watch.

Then again, each of the watches come with an extra bezel as well as a winding minute repeater function that turns 27 degrees clockwise. It is water resistant up to 30 meters. You will get it with a 45 mm wide watch frame crafted in rose gold case. It features 22 mm lugs and a brand new CO-010 caliber. A 72-hour power reserve is assured.
