The hilltop property in the exclusive Calabasas area of Los Angeles doesn’t seem to satisfy the exclusivity criteria of Britney Spears. She is currently living in a $8.9 million home but she is reportedly eager for an upgrade. The 29 year old singer is not moving very far but she is said to have purchased a new house in the extremely private Hidden Hills community just a couple of miles south of her current location.
The built up area of the new house she has bought is 20,000 square feet. The stunning new property sits on over three acre lot. It is a mock Tudor mansion and has a total of ten bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The mansion has the typical double stairway, a huge ballroom, high ceilings, chandeliers and hardwood floors. Hollywood real estate expert Chad Rogers told the In Touch magazine that there is something completely enchanting about this home.
Britney Spears has two sons from her marriage to Kevin Federline, five-year-old Sean Preston and four-year-old Jayden James. The house is very child oriented and even has a games room complete with air hockey table, pin ball machines and arcade games. Superstars like Jennifer Lopez, the Osbournes and the Kardashians have all owned homes in this community. Britney is working on her new album Femme Fatale which will be released in March.
