Brand Dunhill Gets A Clock To Its name, Atmos Regulator

Brand Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a special timepiece, in a limited edition (of course), for luxury name Alfred Dunhill. Called the Atmos Regulator, this clock of sorts is rather an outstanding one. Formed in a black varnished casing, this one has a clear glass front. So far only 22 units are being made each with a black shelf-like base and tinted glass background hat comes complete with gorgeous art deco designs that come inspired from Dunhill’s lighters and cigarette cases of the 30s.

Black stingray leather lines the front of the inlaid shelf that we are talking about and is impressively exotic to complement brand Dunhill. The mechanism of the clock is a sensitive one being a 242-piece caliber-582 movement which has the ability to get powered even by small changes in temperature. Believe it or not, but a change of just one degree can make the clock run for 48 hours. In other words, the clock uses 250 times less energy than a classic wristwatch.

Most traditional springs in any wristwatch oscillate 300 times on an average but in Atmos, it oscillates only twice a minute. The price tag says a whopping $70,600.
