Bower & Wilkins Take Upon Themselves To Imitate Diamonds in Speakers

It’s a very difficult task indeed. Trying to improve perfection! Naah, it’s not flattery but a simple fact that has been experienced by all B&W loyalists (just ask them and you will know). The British speaker manufacturer has impressed us all time and again with its quest for delivering the perfect sound. In fact, one can very well give them the credit for raising the benchmark for speakers.

Also known as Bower & Wilkins, the company has now tried its best to incorporate the precision and clarity of a diamond. And to achieve this, it has taken the aid of a superior strength in the 800 Series tweeter which promises to produce less distortion and a much greater frequency extension and resolution. This is a tad rare considering that most other companies either use cloth or metal dome designs.

All of these 800 Series musical masterpieces have been manufactured in the UK. The speakers come in three kinds of finishes – Rosenut, Cherrywood and Piano Black – with the price ranging between $5K and $24K per pair. It’s gonna cost you an arm and a leg but you will never regret spending all that money.
