Boss Paints Develops Resin Based Decorative Material Containing Millions of Swarovski Elements

Swarovski has perfected the art and the technology for precision cut crystals. They innovate imaginatively to make our world full of color and light. Swarovski today symbolizes beauty and luxury. Its crystals are used for embellishing all kinds of products but it does wonders when used in a home for its decoration. The latest and newest innovative product with Swarovski crystals has been brought to you by Boss paints  and Designs by Penanc for luxury homes. Designs by Penanc is the worldwide licence holder  to attach the exclusive wall decoration called Jewel that uses crystallized Swarovski elements to reflect light in all its brilliance.

Swarovski has been around for over 100 years now and it still surprises you pleasantly when used innovatively. What Boss has done for its Jewel seemed impossible initially. They have managed to integrate precision-cut crystals in a liquid medium. Their research and development team took five years to develop and perfect the product. They have taken millions of specimens of the world’s finest loose cut crystals and mixed them with a transparent resin so that they can be practically painted on the wall and you get an even spread of crystals on your wall. This could qualify as one of the  best tech systems for luxury homes.

The application of Jewel on the wall is also a specialized job. Only a very small number of authorized license holders selected by Boss paints have the skill and the craftsmanship to use this very expensive decorative material. The resin containing millions of crystals is applied layer after layer by hand with a spatula onto walls to give a perfectly even finish. A square meter of Jewel contains up to half a million individual pieces of crystals. Jewel can be used on cabinets and other furniture as well. A square meter of Jewel will cost you €4,500 or $5,900 approximately. This innovative product might be showcased in Paris at the Maison & Objet exhibition in January next year.
