Now a superyacht is offering people to buy a residence on it. It is sort of the first club of its kind, and the entry is quite obviously open for the filthy rich only. I say that because the price of a place on board can cost upto £10m. And the owners are calling it ‘the world’s finest floating club’. This superyacht I must say is a looker.
It is a 220 metre liner that boasts of innumerable luxe offerings such as 12 residential suites, a boutique hotel, a Wolseley-run restaurant, and also a shopping emporium. This superyacht is the result of a collaboration between private members club Quintessentially and Norwegian shipping company Kloster. This yacht will take its passengers to some of the most well known ports and for international events such as the Monaco Yacht Show in Monte Carlo, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix or the Barbados Garrison Savannah horse racing, the Cannes or Venice Film festival etc.
It will be run by CambellGray Hotels who own London’s One Aldwych. This yacht has something for everyone; a spa for rejuvenating yourself after spending so much money, shows by New York live entertainment club, a business centre just in case you have some work, and even a fun place for kids. But having money wont be enough to get a place here, as you will need invitations from them as well. This superyacht will make its maiden trip in 2013.
