Bentley’s Newest Luxe Wheels Will Soon Roll on the Indian Streets

Bentley, the English luxury car maker, has unleashed Mulsanne that will cater to the taste of elite car connoisseurs in the Indian Market. Priced at over $638,000 i.e. Rs 2.9 crore, the car will hit the streets in India in October.

The regional head honcho of the company for India, Middle-East and Africa suggested that India being vibrant developing economy has had vast untapped potential for luxury cars. Well, this is evident since 3 men from different developing countries made it in Forbe’s Top Ten List for 2010, with the Mexican Telecom Mogul Slim Carlos being the first on the list. The bespoke luxury car has a 6.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine, which can produce 512 bhp with 1,020 Nm torque. Almost 650 hours made into making of these luxe wheels this is why it is hailed as “truly handmade”.

Mulsanne is not being debuted in Indian Markets as American and Europeans have already had their hands on this model. Bentley expects to unveil it in few more Asian countries including China which offers a market size that is 10 times bigger than that of India.
