We haven’t seen anything like these shoes designed by designer Marloes ten Bhömer. We are told that they are the ultimate in luxury for your feet but frankly, we are more taken by the ‘different’ pattern of the footwear. This one is Bhömer’s first commercially available shoe and goes by the name of Beigefoldedshoe. Her previous designs were made of wood, tarpaulin, fibreglass and resin, and they were far from wearable.
Yep, and the name does say it all! This one is a handmade design constructed out of a single piece of folded leather. It is supported by a stainless steel heel. All this comes at a price tag of $3,715.
We are told that this shoe took around two years to develop. And might we say that the Beigefoldedshoe justifies the design and labor gone into it’s development, some even call the concept ‘revolutionary’. So go ahead and make a unique foot fashion statement.
