The St. Regis Hotel has added another hotel to its chain. The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort is the latest addition to the luxury brand. It is the twenty first hotel under the brand. And since jewelry symbolizes luxury they have collaborated with Alexis Bittar to create a luxury jewelry collection to celebrate the recent opening of the new luxury hotel in Puerto Rico.
The celebratory collection by Alexis Bittar is a modestly sized capsule collection. In fact it is a set consisting of a necklace, a pair of earrings and a brooch. What is special about the collection is that the design pays tribute to the St. Regis founding patroness Caroline Astor. The socialite’s exquisite style is the inspiration behind the design of the new collection. Alexis spent time to explore the glamorous life of Astor in order to create the collection.
Alexis seemed very happy with the whole experience and expressed her gratitude to St. Regis for giving her the opportunity to collaborate with them. Going through the personal jewelry of Caroline Astor was great fun for her and gave her a good idea about the style of her times. Alexis however managed to put a modern twist to it.
