Celebrating forty years of one of the most famous and revered automobiles, the 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z432, the nation’s leading jeweler, Ginza Tanaka has come out with a tribute to the great Fairlady Z432 in the form of a scaled down toy car that, it considers to be a collector’s item, because the entire structure of the toy cars is made from the precious metal, Platinum.

The Nissan Fairlady Z432 was designed and developed in the year 1970 and was built only for the Japanese markets and was powered by twin cam 2.0 L inline 6 cylinder “S20” engine, which as was also used in the KPGC10 Skyline GT-R. The Z432 was introduced in the market with black steel wheels and a low luster black hood.

The entire toy car set including the box that bears the engravings of the classic four wheeler are cast in platinum and the collection toy car is hand built entirely. Although, there is only one piece that has been designed and is not for sale, yet the company suggests that, for some to acquire such a classic piece of art, would require about $80,000.

The Nissan Fairlady Z432 platinum toy car collector’s model will be up for display at the Hong Kong International Jewelery Show this month and will later displayed at the Osaka Tomica Fair, to be in the month of April in Japan.
