56-carat Heart-shaped Diamond Valued Over £7.5million to be Auctioned in May

There isn’t any dearth of heart goodies out ther. You can get everything from an air show with hearts painted all around the blue sky, heart-shaped chocolate boxes and bags but how would you exclaim if somebody presented you with a 56-carat heart-shaped diamond? Valentine’s day is not just over yet. The £7.5million worth diamond is going to be put for auction uynder Christie’s Magnificent Jewels collection.

Those who long been bling connoisseurs know this isn’t the greatest of the all that has been auctioned till date. The Cullinan Diamond was the one that set world record with a price of £250million. At 3,106.75 carats i.e. close to 621.35g, this was the largest rough gem quality diamond ever found.

This heart-shaped diamond is going for auction in May, so even you’d be way past the valentine month in gifting, your lover would really think that the wait was worth it. And even if it’s a cliché, a woman couldn’t really have a better best friend than a heart shaped diamond itself.
