BMW is among the top selling super car brands of all times. Automobile enthusiasts with an easy monetary hand always like to add more than just one to the collection they are most passionate about. And we all saw that the BMW 3 Series coupe and convertible witnessed a huge popularity, in particular. These cars have been treated to a very minor upgrade this new year. As far as the visual appeal goes, the 2011 models come equipped with new lights and bumpers (both front and rear).
Apart from these, one can even spot the little change in the size of the grille. Even the side mirrors have been refreshed. As for the interior, it has got itself an all new solar-reflective leather treatment which is able to achieve a cooler surface inspite of all the green house heating.
The biggest change is in the engine. The outgoing twin-turbo inline-six engine in the 335i has been been replaced by a new twin-scroll single-turbo unit that has a direct injection and is able to offer the same output as the previous one but at more accessible levels. Then again, BMW is all gung-ho about offering all-wheel-drive on the coupe for the first time.
