Rehoboth Beach’s first high end hotel, The Bellmoor Inn is getting facelift. It 78 hotels and suits will be touched up to make them even more luxurious than they already are. This overhaul will be done with by Memorial Day. The hotel has been operational throughout the renovation. “This is our eighth year, and we wanted to freshen our guestrooms to give them a modern touch yet still keep the country manor look that we have become known for.†says Chad Moore, general manager, whose family owns the property.
The makeover was undertaken by designer Bruce Schafer. “The style, the gentility of the Bellmoor has only been enhanced. The Moores have created an environment that was comfortable but polished, from the polite desk clerks to the full breakfast in the morning to the clean rooms.†said the designer.
The fresh additions include crisp, white duvet covers, new window treatments and furniture coverings. Furniture in the private garden roomspart of the original property once known as The Dinner Bell Inn has been redesigned to provide more space. New sleeper sofas for extra comfort have also been placed.
Moore says, “The changes demonstrate that we are continually striving to keep on top of customers’ needs and wants. As the premier hotel along the Delaware coast, we know customers have certain expectations, and we aim to exceed them.â€
