Panamera Platinum Edition by Porsche has Expanded Standard Features

Porsche is known for making exclusive cars but they have now made a particularly exclusive and elegant version of their Panamera. The special edition is called the Platinum Edition and as the name suggests the exclusive model has several design features in platinum silver. The special edition is being offered in Panamera and all-wheel-drive Panamera 4 configurations. The new model with expanded standard features and exclusive details will become available in the American markets for delivery from the first week of January 2013. The platinum in this model is visible in the lower half of the side view mirrors. The trim on the trunk lid and the rear diffuser are also metallic platinum silver and several new grills have been designed for this model in the same metal.

Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition Available in Five Exterior Finish Colors

The special edition Panamera will be available in five exterior finish colors. Apart from black and white you may opt for basalt black metallic, carbon grey metallic and mahogany metallic lacquer finishes. The side window strips are finished in high gloss black giving the car a very elegant appearance. Many of the popular options offered in Panameras have been made standard equipment for the Platinum Edition. The Bi-Xenon with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) main headlights and parking assist front and rear are a standard feature now. The 19 inch Turbo alloy wheels with the Porsche crests add to the elegance of the vehicle.

The Two Tone Interior is in Black and Luxor Beige

The interior of the special edition is equally sumptuous. A partial leather interior has become standard for this model, however a full leather package is also available. The two tone combination in the in the interior is black and luxor beige. You will find the Porsche crest on the front and rear headrests and Platinum Edition has been imprinted on the front door trim strips. The Porsche Communication Management System with built in navigation system helps keep the drivers on track. The car also features a high resolution 7 inch TFT touch screen and a Bose surround sound system with fourteen speakers to ensure optimal audio sound in the car. Power Steering Plus and front and rear seat heating also is part of the standard package. The Panamera Platinum Edition has been priced at $80,500 and the Panamera 4 Platinum Edition will cost you $84,600.
