Hertz recently has announced that it has purchased vehicles from Porsche thereby becoming the first rental car company in the US to rent a Porsche Panamera. The business move by the Hertz will enable people to now rent the Porsche Panamera Sports car which is actually a sedan. Hertz is a car rental giant in the United States and this latest venture has only added to their prestige. With the Porsche Panamera introduced in the Hertz prestige collection, people can now enjoy luxurious road trips with their family and friends. Hertz customers in California, Florida and Nevada can rent the car at $250 for a weekend.
For this venture, Hertz also established a business relationship with Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) and Porsche Motorsports North America, Inc. (PMNA). The Porsche Cars North America is the only importer of Porsche cars in North America and is based in Atlanta. With this collaboration with Hertz they will now make available a high end luxury car like Porsche Panamera to its many customers. The Porsche Motorsports North America and Hertz have also declared that Hertz will be the official sponsor of the 2012 Porsche IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama and a sponsor of the 2012 JDX Racing Team. As a result, Hertz will make an appearance on all the cars at the GT3 Cup Challenge.
Hertz is quite a name and also tops the charts for rental vehicles according to a survey conducted by Zagat for the years 2012-13.With this collaboration Hertz has raised its own bar believes its Chairman and CEO, Mark P. Frissora.
The Porsche Panamera
