More news from the extravagant life of Mr. David Beckham. The British star footballer who some time back decided to shift to the Paris Saint-Germain football team will be residing at the posh (no pun intended) Hotel Bristol located at Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris. To top that, he has chosen the biggest and most expensive suite, the Imperial Suite over there. This four room suite is spread over 3,475 square feet and includes two bedrooms, a sitting room and a huge dining area with a seating capacity of 12 people, overlooking the hotel’s well manicured French garden.
The bathroom is out of this world. It is made of exquisite pink Aurora marble and includes a steam shower apart from the bath. All this brings his bill to a whopping €17,000 per night. But he won’t have to worry about that for the next five months, as his new team will be taking care of the bill for now. How convenient.
After a game, any athlete works up an appetite. The hotel’s triple Michelin starred restaurant under head chef Eric Frechon will take care of that. The bill for that again could burn a hole in the pocket of any ordinary man. But David Beckham is no ordinary bloke. The restaurants £220 Bresse farm hen or €92 worth macaroni and cheese topped with black truffle, artichoke, duck foie gras and mature Parmesan cheese will seem like a McDonalds Happy Meal to this millionaire.
In the past we have seen other glimpses of the ritzy lifestyle of the Beckhams when they were living in a  $60,000 a month Malibu mansion during his stint with the LA Galaxy, or when he sold some of his luxury cars, and how can we forget the time when he took his pet pooch fly first class!
