David Beckham Makes Pet Pooch Fly First Class

The saying, ‘every dog has his day’ reaches a new platform after this luxurious incident. We are told that David Beckham went ahead and spent $3,300 just for flying his pet bulldog puppy to his LA home. This furry beast wa sa gift from Victoria and was put on a plane (please read ‘first class’) and escorted by a specialist service called PetAir.

This is a UK-based pet transportation company which has made quite a name for itself in making your pets feel like a million bucks. Apparently, the Beckham’s pup enjoyed a slap-up meal at the home of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana. He was treated to meals including Aberdeen Angus mincemeat with Lincolnshire sausage before embarking on the 5,500 miles journey which was deliciously comfy for the pooch. In fact, it had been living with the Ramsays after the festive break as Victoria and the three boys flew back to America and David flew to Milan to play soccer.

PetAir offers a luxury ‘Gold Standard’ service at a starting price of £1,300. This package also includes a custom-made wooden container, water, a pre-travel health examination as well as a night in the care of a vet. Yes, now that’s a lucky dog!
