Vertu Ti is the First Phone from the House Powered by Android

Vertu, the British luxury handset manufacturer is known for designing super expensive communication devices. Their latest offering boasts of virtually scratchproof sapphire crystal screen and lightweight titanium casing. The crystal screen provides flawless optical quality and the titanium case reduces the weight with optimum strength. Another unique and exclusive feature of the new phone is the musical punctuation from the London Symphony Orchestra. Called the Vertu Ti, the luxurious handset handmade in England is powered by Android. The new phone has been created by Vertu in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen and it is the first time that Vertu has developed a smartphone powered by Android.

Each piece of Vertu Ti is Handcrafted by a Single Craftsman

The high profile handset manufacturer boasts of a long list of high end communication devices including the Constellation Candy, the Costellation Quest Ferrari inspired by the iconic GT car, the Constellation Quest in Pink created as a gift for Valentine’s Day and the Vertu Signature Dragon phones to mark the Year of the Dragon. What is unique about the Vertu Ti is that each individual piece is hand crafted by a single craftsman and the name and signature of the person who has crafted the phone is laser inscribed on the inside lid of the SIM card holder. Each piece is unique and exclusive and carries a price tag of $10,569.

The New Design is Available in Four Versions

Vertu has opted for Android over Windows as they found it to be more versatile. It runs Android 4.0 and features dual core 1.7GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Crafted from grade 5 titanium the 180 gram handset is the most powerful phone that delivers an intuitive and highly reactive experience. The luxury communication device has a ‘concierge’ button that connects you to a global team who can help you with events and restaurant bookings. The phone features 3.7” sapphire crystal screen, 8MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front facing Skype compliant camera. Four versions of the new design has been manufactured; the Titanium black PVD red gold mixed metals, titanium black leather, titanium black alligator, and titanium pure black.
