In fact the company is celebrating its 250th Anniversary and to celebrate the special occasion the company has released this Limited Edition Wood Case set. It is a handcrafted case and several shelves emerge at different levels as you open the case to make it convenient for you to reach all the pencils and related articles that have been packed in the case. There is a long list of articles that has been put in the case to make it the most comprehensive kit an artist would need.
The handcrafted wooden case contains all 120 colors of Polychromos colored pencils and Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils, Polychromos artists pastels, PITT pastel pencils, Castell 9000 black-lead pencils, PITT woodless graphite pencils, PITT compressed charcoal sticks, double-hole metal sharpener, watercolor brush and a water bowl. Only 1761 case are being produced for the limited edition release and each case will have an individually numbered plaque and a certificate of authenticity. 1761 corresponds with the year the company was founded.
