Dresses Worn by Late Princess Diana to be Showcased

Memories of the lovely princess Diana have come back again, ever since her son, Prince William announced his engagement to long time girlfriend Kate Middlleton. She has been given late Princess Diana’s ring itself to sort of show that her memory remains. A part of that memory is the style of the lovely princess. After her tragic death, many of her dresses have been displayed in exhibitions around the world.

Ten of her dresses have recently been put on display at the Fashion Museum in Bath, England where they will stay from now until January 9, 2011. Their current owner is Mrs Suzanne King, and they include dresses spanning sixteen years of her life in the spotlight. This collection includes dresses worn during the Royal tours of Canada and New Zealand in the early 1980s, as well as evening dresses by couturier Catherine Walker from around 1990, plus little black cocktail dresses by Versace from the mid-1990s.

Her wedding is probably the most iconic of them all and currently resides at the Grand Rapids Art Museum in Michigan, where it will be showcased at the exhibition “Diana — A Celebration, “which started this month and will go on till February 16,2011.
