The Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo is situated at an envious spot. It has a clear view of one of the best corners in the Formula-1 circuit. Those who are even a bit interested in Formula-1 would know that Monte Carlo has one of the most amazing tracks in the world. But the special stretch on that track we are talking about is what was known as the Lowe’s Hairpin. It was named so because it has one of the tightest turns on any Formula-1 track! In fact the track is wound so narrowly and tightly around itself that car’s steering ha to be modified specially, just to manage on this stretch.
This famous track corner has been rechristened into the Fairmont hairpin, and the hotel even has plans to offer services and entertainment that match the excitement of the race itself! Renovations worth over  €46 million have jazzed up the already stunning hotel. It now has new top-floor restaurant called L’Horizon with a spectacular 360-degree view of MonteCarlo. It also boasts of a 5-star menu which includes vegetables grown in Fairmont’s own gardens in the countryside, making it fresher and tastier than what one would get in any other restaurant.
After the scrumptious meal at the restaurant, one can lose the extra calories at the Willow Fitness Center or rejuvenate oneself at the Willow Stream Spa. The hotel can also provide you with Adidas t-shirts, shorts and shoes and an Mp3 player with EMI tunes to make the workout more comfortable and enjoyable.
The resort offers two packages during the GP weekend: one for the grand prix that will get you a bed from April30 till May2 and the other for the Formula-1 weekend for one to four nights, depending upon your schedule. Another perk for staying in-house would be Flavio Briatore’s Sardinia-based Billionaire’s Club that will host parties all through the night at the Fairmont’s Salle d’Or ballroom. Sounds like a fun trip doesn’t it?
