There is something about pens and their exclusivity that makes them very alluring no matter how paperless and digital we all become. One can never show one’s superiority and richness with a boring old laptop or even with a seal. If you have a chic pen that costs loads, you can directly be seen as someone who can afford luxury.
That makes buying expensive pens something irresistible for most people who are well heeled. The S.T. Dupont Havana Fountain Pen is something that every rich guy must buy and it comes wrapped in Havana Brown Alligator Leather. Thanks to a palladium pen cap which has the alligator’s scales engraved it looks really expensive if you asked me.

We have just discovered that S.T. DuPont, a French company is making a new handset called “Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE” in collaboration with Pantech, South Korea’s largest handset manufacturer. The luxurious phone is inspired by DuPont’s famous lighters, which Pantech integrates as a push-up button with the same cling sound that is produced when the lighter cap opens.
The phone comes with a lot of interesting features. It has a 3-inch touch screen display, a 2G-only connectivity, GPS, a MP3 camera with 3 megapixel, Bluetooth, mobile dictionary, and gold plated edges. The features look appealing but the DuPont phone will be available only for SK Telecom network users. It is very unfair to those who really want to buy this phone. However, around 30,000 of this handset are expected to be sold.

We are not encouragers of smoking but yes, we do like to talk about related luxury items, if not for anything else but for the sake of collecting! Well as cheesy as that statement is, let us quickly introduce you to the new S.T. Dupont Place Vendôme lighter and pent set than really made us talk in that manner. This one comes from the makers of the most expensive lighter in the world, so you can very well expected some of that to rub off on this latest product.
S.T. Dupont claims to have combined luxury and homage by etching out the most well-known examples of the 17th Century French architecture all on to a lighter. Apparently, the French firm was most inspired by Place Vendôme; a building originally commissioned by King Louis XIV but now functions as a hub for the most high-end French jewelry.

Though we aren’t real supporters of smoking but we do appreciate related accessories, if not for anything more but to add to your display collection at home.
