Patek Philippe watches are some of the most exclusive and most expensive watches. Brad Pitt has bought one of the most expensive watches of the world for Angelina Jolie as wedding gift. It is a Patek Philippe Minute Repeater which cost him €260k. The watch normally has a waiting list with a lead time of two years. It is a custom made timepiece crafted out of gold and boasting of a mother of pearl dial. Because of a high level of craftsmanship and details it takes two months to make one piece. Stern Family who own Patek Philippe checks each piece personally in their head quarters at Geneva, Switzerland to ensure that every aspect of the watch is perfect.

Brad Wanted Something that Very few People Had

Brad Pitt had visited the watch fair at Basel this year and met the Stern family as he wanted to buy a unique gift for Angelina, something that very few people have. He zeroed in on this watch which is like a piece of art and highly sophisticated. The most unique aspect of the watch is that it chimes sounds based on Big Ben. You can’t really get classier than a bong. And it is perhaps the most exclusive watch in Patek Philippe’s portfolio. Brad went to Geneva personally to pick up the watch. He is supposed to give it to Angelina as a pre wedding gift. You can let your imagination run wild to guess what he will select as a wedding day gift.

The Wedding will Take Place in Their French Chateau

The wedding is scheduled to take place later in their French Chateau. If the exclusive watch from Patek Philippe is any indication then we can imagine what a grand affair the wedding is going to be. However it is expected to be a very exclusive and private affair. The couple has been together for quite sometime now and according to reports are marrying to fulfill the wishes of their children.
