£100m VavaII super yacht takes its first voyage into the high seas

Just a couple of days back we saw the super car inspired super yacht which pretty much had it all to take away your breath with its chic attire. Another big news form the yacht industry is the £100m super yacht owned by Britain’s richest woman which took its first sea voyage. The luxury vessel is the biggest the country has ever witnessed and was constructed for former Miss UK Kirsty Bertarelli over two years in Plymouth, Devon, and boasts a helipad and six decks. Then Mrs Bertarelli and her Swiss husband Ernesto had the 96-metre Vava II built to replace their previous 47m ship.

This one is the biggest ever yacht built in UK at 96 meters. Mr Bertarelli is a famed personality in the pharmaceutical industry and has twice bagged the prestigious titles of America’s Cup yacht race and is worth a reputed £6.8billion, making him the 81st richest man in the world and the fifth richest in the UK. One of the biggest hallmark features here is the fold-down beach club and a pool which can be varied in depth to cater for guest preferences. Over 200 craftsmen were commissioned to build this one at the Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth and this one boats of opulent guest cabins and four boats to ferry passengers to shore. It is also said the yacht was built in utmost secrecy. The yacht will be delivered to the couple in February and it would be available for private charter at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds a week.
