The Nolitan Is One Of The Hippest Hotels In New York

Tired of the stuffy look and feel of New York luxury hotels? Why don’t you try staying at the Nolitan, where service staff is dressed in casual cool designs from J. Crew and Banana Republic? This New York City hotel is young; it is beautiful; it is modern; and it does not feel like just another hotel.

The Nolitan finally opened for business on 1 August this year, after several delays. But it was well worth the wait, for in the world of luxury hotels, the Nolitan is a breath of fresh air. The leather couches of the lobby combined with the combined with the home-like bookshelves and hardwood floors immediately sends a message – this is not your typical hotel.

With only 55 rooms on offer, the Nolitan is not your largest New York luxury hotel. But its uniqueness is sure to draw guests. On the minus side, the rooms are a tad small, especially if you are accustomed to more spacious accommodation. However, you probably will not mind the lack of space, given that each room comes with floor-to-ceiling windows and attached balconies. Large luxurious beds and Corian bathrooms with rainforest showers add to the luxury quotient of this stunning hotel.

The hotel houses a chic restaurant, Ellabess, which offers continental food with Asian elements. The rooftop bars with their sweeping views of Manhattan and Brooklyn provide a great area to just chill. And for all those late risers, this hotel offers a late 2pm checkout time. What’s more? You get complimentary WiFi, local calls and on-site bicycles and skateboards. Yes, this is possibly one of New York’s coolest hotels.
