Blogger Creates Star Wars Stormtrooper Helmet from Adidas Sneakers

Who would have thought that shoes and science fiction gel well? But science fiction is not only inspiring the shoe manufacturers but designers are using shoes to create futuristic designs. Nike has just recently auctioned 1,500 pairs of Back to the Future 2 MAG shoes in the aid of Michael J Fox Foundation which received a very enthusiastic response from sneaker enthusiasts. eBay is already playing host to another shoe auction that is drawing in big bucks. But this time the shoes are not being used for the feet but have been incorporated in a futuristic design inspired by the movie Star Wars.

This is a creation by a blogger named Freehand Profit. He has taken two pairs of Adidas X Star Wars Superskate Mids and with the help of a EFX Studio Stormtrooper prop replica created a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet. The Adidas stripes and shoelaces are clearly visible and recognizable and the colorful trim enhances the beauty of the futuristic creation. The look of the helmet is very fashionable and looks like it will definitely complement the rest of the Stormtrooper uniform. In any case, Freehand Profit must be complimented for this unusual and unique creation.

For sneakers enthusiasts this is a good follow up of the Nike MAG shoes. This new creation is also available on eBay. However, it may not be able to match the MAG shoes in terms the price it is able to fetch. The Adidas X Star Wars Stormtrooper Helmet has been put up for sale with a reserve price of $1,200 and it took some time to cross the reserve mark but it would now be interesting to see at what price it would finally be sold.
