The Newly Renovated Chateau Eza Opens To Guests Once Again

Luxury travelers to Monte Carlo can get away from the bustle of the city and unwind at the picturesque village of Eze. The seaside village is now home to the newly renovated Chateau Eza, a luxury boutique hotel that Travel & Leisure readers rated as the 11th Best Hotel in Europe in 2011.

This luxury hotel was formerly home to a Swedish prince. No wonder it smacks of royalty. This oceanfront property offers stunning views of the French Riviera, but it also promises a wonderful luxury experience to guests who use its facilities. The recent luxury hotel renovation preserved the original, historic feel of this boutique hotel while bringing in the various modern amenities required by luxury travelers. For example, the rare parquet hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams have been maintained and in-floor heating has been introduced.

The Chateau Eza is home to 10 cozy guest rooms and suites. On offer are sea-facing private balconies and terraces, along with Jacuzzis, tubs and more. If you are planning a luxurious honeymoon, this romantic hotel could provide the perfect setting. Guests here can access the private Ajuna beach as well.

Chateau Eza is also home to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Enclosed entirely in glass, the restaurant offers brilliant views of the Cote d’Azur. It is said that guests can see as far as St. Tropez on a clear day. Menus here change with the seasons, with seasonal ingredients being showcased in every new menu. The restaurant is open to guests who are not staying at the hotel as well. Plus, the terrace bar is ideal for a romantic evening of champagne and cocktails.
