Saxon is the Leading Boutique Hotel of South Africa

The Saxon is easily the most awarded hotel in South Africa. It is being voted ‘South Africa’s Leading Boutique Hotel’ since 2001. It has also been recognized and honored as ‘World’s Leading Boutique Hotel’, “Africa’s Leading Boutique Hotel”, “Africa’s Leading Suite” and one of the “Leading Small Hotels of the World”. It was originally the home of insurance giant Douw Steyn. It was converted into a boutique hotel with 24 luxury hotel suites and opened its doors in June 2000.
