And targeting that group the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club has designed a new ‘Wellness Concierge’ program to help the Members move towards their aim of a healthier lifestyle. Under the new program the members will have access to a wellness concierge who will help them create a comprehensive and personalized program of wellness services combining spa, fitness and culinary aspects. If followed diligently, this program is bound to have a positive impact on the personal well being of the members.
The individual’s fitness and wellness goals vary from each other and that is why the program provides complimentary time with the wellness concierge so that the wellness series can be tailored to fit the member’s individualized needs. The members can choose from personal training, group exercise classes and a full selection of massage services that best serves their needs. Besides the standard services, each property will have a unique selection of wellness services that will be more relevant to the location and the group of members they have.
Tom Hays is the wellness concierge at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and has a rich experience of 23 years in the hotel industry with a majority of them at The Lodge at Vail. He had started off as a Chef but changed course and got his Personal Trainers Certification as well as a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition and board certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Tom will be travelling to select Ritz-Carlton Destination Club locations this summer to introduce the concept to the members.
