The iPad 2 is out, and designers have already begun working on their blingy offerings for the latest version of popular tablet from Apple. Racing against time, London based CrystalRoc has already released their take on the iPad 2. The company has come up with the first Swarovski crystal encrusted iPad 2 cases. If you jog your memory to when the iPad was released, you might remember that then too CrystalRoc had rushed to bring out the world’s first Swarovski crystal studded iPad. So news on the flashy iPad 2 cases may not that much of a surprise.
Each of the new iPad 2 cases from CrystalRoc are covered with over 4,000 Swarovski crystals. These cases are currently being produced exclusively in CrystalRoc’s London studios only. The crystals that have been used are Xilion cut, which gives a great finish and ensures that the stones sparkle more than ever.
The company is currently offering the crystal encrusted cases in three different colours – Swarovski Crystal, Jet Hematite and Rose. However, if you have a specific colour in mind, the company is open to requests for custom colours. The introductory price for these luxe cases is $700, which includes delivery, a small price to pay for that precious second-generation tablet. So what if it is almost the same price as the new gadget?
However, just because the iPad 2 is out, it does not mean that its first-generation predecessor will disappear from the scene. And thanks to brands like Ettinger, Lux Mobile and Louis Vuitton among others, there are plenty of flamboyant cases for your first-gen iPad as well.
