Kate Moss Creates a New Collection of Exciting Bags for Longchamp

Kate Moss’ association with Longchamp is not only continuing but flourishing. Longchamp is a well established high end label in the field of luxury leather goods. Kate Moss’ association with them started in 2006 when they recruited the British celebrity model for their ad campaign. It was a successful campaign that made the association stronger. Last spring Kate Moss collaborated with their artistic director Sophie Delafontaine to produce a highly successful first collection of handbags called Rock’n’Casual, Rock’n’Travel and Rock’n’Glam.

The bags with signature zebra-print linings had major design inputs from Kate Moss and she is back this year with a new trio of style themes for autumn. The trio has been named Neo Pure, Neo Precious and Neo Patch. Neo Pure clutches, totes and shoulder bags are made in butter-soft lamb skin with chain handles. The neo Precious bags come in three color options, ruby, emerald and sapphire. It is made from calf skin but has a crocodile finish. It comes with a band of matching cabochon stones.

Neo Patch is the eye catching line and the vintage look has been rediscovered from the Longchamp archives. It is a patchwork of diagonal strips of calfskin in a mix of exotic finishes—lizard, python, crocodile. The colors have also been mixed and matched as you have brilliant shades of red, blue, jade green and yellow-gold along with pale gray and black. Gloucester Travel is the star attraction of the line. The set has a large handbag with two belted leather handles and two clutches. We are sure Kate Moss will come back with more in the future.
