The Liberty Hotel in Boston Joins The Luxury Collection from Starwood

The Liberty Hotel in Boston, a National Historic Landmark built in 1851 has joined Starwood’s Luxury Brand St. Regis & The Luxury Collection. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced the signing of the license agreement and said that it was the 100th property to join the brand and the first one in Boston.  Starwood now has more hotels in more markets than any other competing chain in the segment.

Some of the world’s finest hotels and resorts in over 30 countries are part of the Luxury Collection brand. Like the Liberty in Boston, some of the hotels are centuries old and recognized as being the world’s finest. Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards has recognized the Liberty Hotel as one of the top hotels in the US. The Liberty is New England’s premier luxury destination with a synthesis of architectural authenticity and modern refinement.

The Liberty Hotel is situated at the foot of Boston’s Beacon Hill, overlooking the Charles River. The hotel has 300 rooms with soaring ceilings and a lot of the original structure preserved. The landscaped courtyard in the property is a hidden gem. The hotel boast of several restaurants that serve the best Boston has to offer. The menu ranges from modern American to Italian to Mediterranean to flavors from the Middle East.

    I stayed here during the summer of 2010 and had an amazing time here. It’s definitely the only place that I would want to stay in when traveling to Boston!
