The name Waldorf Astoria makes you think of only one thing and that is luxury. The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City is one of the most lavish hotels in North America. Located on the prestigious Park Avenue it offers a choice of 1400 luxurious rooms to its guests. People in Europe also want the same level of luxury to become available there and plans have been put in motion to add another to the Waldorf-Astoria collection in the capital of Israel, Tel Aviv.
The Waldorf Astoria had first moved to Europe in 2008 with the Calalieri in Rome. Just prior to that, they had forayed into the Middle East with the luxurious Qasr Al Sharq in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The construction of their new hotel in Israel has begun under the direction of Hilton. The new hotel is planned to be on the Tel Aviv beachfront next to the Tel Aviv Hilton.
Tel Aviv is the most expensive city in the Middle East and practically all the Israeli billionaires live there. The new luxury hotel is slated to feature about 220 guest suites along with 30 residential condos. It is sure to become popular with the rich in the region who want to enjoy a luxurious stay.
