It has to be the best, one of the best. In fact it has to be so great that there is no way you could think of something lesser than that.
Three bottles of Châteaux Lafite-Rothschild 1869 were sold in Hong Kong for a price of $232,692 each. Chateau Lafite has a lot of friends in Asia and that is shown by the way the Hong Kong wine lovers have spent on these bottles of wine. In fact, if you love your wine, Asia might be the best place to begin hunting for a great bottle of wine. The auction in Hong Kong featured all the bottles owned by Domaines Baron de Rothschild.
If you ever happen to visit Hong Kong, I am sure you would be spoilt for choice when you need a bottle of great wine. Of course, you might in fact purchase a luxury sedan for the price of a bottle of wine in Hong Kong. The auction raked in a total sum of $8.4 million and that is quite a record! In fact, pre sale estimates were about just $2.5 million.
