This July 30th, Marc Jacobs is releasing is a men’s perfume probably after a decade, This highly anticipated perfume is called Marc Jacobs Bang, and is all set to be released with a bang. The promotion pictures sort of verge on sexy and vulgar. But I guess this perfume hopes to bring out an ‘in-your-face’ kinda sex appeal. Well but Marc Jacobs is definitely looking quite hot in the pics taken by Juergen Teller.
But the company has released more modest promotional pictures for markets like the Middle East where this picture would be way too scandalous. In these places the picture will either have Jacobs cropped at the shoulders and holding the scent near his face or just the perfume bottle. On that thought, have a look at the bottle. It is probably one of the coolest perfume bottles I have seen!
The scent is spicy, accentuated with notes like pepper. It has been developed by Givaudan and Ann Gottlieb. Bang’s top notes are black, pink and white peppercorns, bits of masculine woods and a very enticing drydown of hypnotic elemi resinoid, along with aromatic benzoin, vetiver, white moss and patchouli. This perfume will be available at Marc Jacob stores and Bloomingdales for $75.
