The much awaited return of the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company to Hong Kong is happening finally. And what a come back, they are really doing it in style. The company announced officially that it is returning to Hong Kong with the tallest hotel in the world. The hotel will be situated on the 102nd to the 118th floor of the International commerce Centre (ICC), Kowloon.
The new hotel will be offering a total of 312 rooms for guests. The sizes will vary and the largest would be the 365 sqm Ritz Carlton Suite. There will be six dining options with the Alfresco bar on the rooftop which would make it 490 meters above sea level. They would be serving Asian style tapas and contemporary cocktails. Even at that height the hotel will have all the feature like a spa and fitness centre and indoor pool.
Siamon Cooper, President and COO of the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company was delighted to be back in Hong Kong and particularly so because of the unique location of the hotel. The top 16 floors of the ICC Tower will offer panoramic views of the Victoria harbor and the Hong Kong Island. He said that the world class style, design and service will make the hotel the heart and soul of Hong Kong. The new hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2011.
