FLO TV collaborates with Audiovox’s portable DVD Player

Qualcomm isn’t all too happy with the performance of FLO TV, but the company is entering very many fields to atleast have some success. This time they have ventured into the world of portable DVD players. Audiovox has just come out with the first such device that is called DFLo1 player. Though it was announced at CES in January, but it has just recently come into the market and it costs $199. Not too bad!

It comes with a 7-inch widescreen display, a DVD Player (Duh!) and also a three months free service of FLO TV. When the three month free trial is over, you will have to pay $14.99 a month. So if you want to buy it right away, then you will have to get the HSN people to ship it to you, as they seem to be enjoying the monopoly right now. However, in the near future, these babies will be available in the Best Buy stores as well.

Seems like a nice buy to me. So if you are looking for a portable DVD player then you could definitely have a look. And as far as FLO TV is concerned, well I wish them all the luck on this endeavour.
