David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay planning to open a traditional English pub in L.A.

A Star footballer David Beckham and Star chef Gordon Ramsay have joined hands to open a pub in Los Angeles. And they are thinking of christening the place The Queen Vic. No the Britons are not dedicating this pub to Queen Victoria as a symbol of the love for their country, but it is actually after the Queen of David’s heart, his wife, Victoria Beckham.

The two celebrities have been friends for many years now, and over a Christmas dinner, decided to go ahead with this idea. What they are planning to do is to stick to their British roots and open and typical English pub that would have ales and beers through tap and also serve English specialities such as fish and chips, bangers and mash. They are hoping that this will be a hit with the British expatriates and might catch up with the locals as well.

Well I guess the concept is pretty interesting but I think more than that, it will be the name of the owners that will attract the bulk of its visitors once this pub opens. But I have my doubts if we will get to see this pub opening any time soon as Gordon Ramsey already has his hands full and the spokesperson for Beckham also said that there wasn’t any plan in the pipeline.
