The Savoy loyalists will get to enjoy the pampering of their favorite restaurant, which also happens to be the one of the most famous ones over the world, very soon. If reports are to be believed, this London based luxe eating place will open on October 10. The massive refurbishment project that started in December 2007 will finally be coming to an end. The revamp has been on a huge scale covering the entire building right from the entrance and the American Bar to The Savoy Grill and the 268 guestrooms and suites.
Folks at Savoy are very excited about the grand re-opening. The GM, Kiaran MacDonald was heard saying that they are looking to astound people and hope the restaurant goes beyond their expectations.
Here’s some dope on the highlights you might want to check out post October. The River Restaurant has been remodeled while a two bedroom Royal Suite has been added. Even 38 River Suites and Guestrooms with views over the River Thames will be unveiled. The Beaufort Bar is pretty much there to offer you the most delicious of champagnes, cocktails and the famous Savoy tea. The new Bijou Teashop is also going to be a real knock out.
