Here is an amazing designer table lamp which not only lights up the room but also projects a message on the wall nearby. The Hooo!!! Lamp created by French designer Philippe Starck for renowned lighting company Flos is a collaborative effort of designer Philippe Starck, American artist Jenny Holzer, interactive electric designer Moritz Waldermeyer and French glass manufacturer Baccarat.
This limited edition Hooo!!! table and floor lamp was displayed at recently concluded Milan Design Week 2010(the prototype design was on show in Milan Design Week 2009). The beauty of this interactive lamp is, it uses handmade baccarat crystal and LED display which runs along the centre to create geometric LED matrix and animated text (by artist Holzer)which is projected on the surface nearby. It is a very simple but sophisticated electric design consisting of LEDs, processors and operation switch for text display. These energy saver table and floor lamp will grab all the attention wherever they are displayed.
