Striking New Jewelry Collection From The Fashion House Of Hermès

Fashion brand Hermès is best known for the gorgeous Birkin bags that it makes. Everyone from Victoria Beckham to the the fashionable working women love to have a new one each time it is released. But from the looks of it, the fashion house seems set on making a name for itself in other fashionable arenas as well. We are talking about jewelry as Hermès makes a rather striking entry with an exclusive collection that has been visioned, developed and designed by famous accessories creative mind Pierre Hardy.

This one is a fourteen-piece jewelry collection and likes to go by the name “haute bijouterie”. As trendy as they make them, it consists of stuff that has been immensly inspired by the world of horse riding. There is a whip-shaped Fouet diamond necklace, a horse hoof-inspired Centaure necklace, bracelet, earrings and rings.

From what we hear, it took some 3,669 sparkling diamonds to make the Fouet diamond necklace. All these jewelry items come packaged in custom-made boxes that have been crafted out of black alligator leather. As for the price range, let us give you some indication. The clip-on rose gold and black jade earrings will cost $23,675 while the diamond necklace would hit you hard with a $880,000 price tag.
