World Travel Awards Nominees Announced, 5,000 Organizations to Take Part
If you are interested in travelling, you would certainly like to know which are the best places to stay and which destinations could take you to that exquisite high that only a great place could. The World Travel Awards which was launched in 1993 is one of the best ways to know what is happening in the travel front. The awards have been launched in order to recognize and acknowle3dge the best in world’s travel and tourism industry.
The 17th Anniversary would soon be celebrated and the votes are cast by travel professionals from 183,000 travel agencies, tour companies and tourism organisations in 162 countries. There are about 998 different categories, which mean there are several awards to be won. Some 5,000 organizations spanning 162 countries have been nominated as yet, and it would be interesting to learn who might win the awards.
In order to address the importance of staying green, there is also several new categories that test the environmental friendliness in the areas of cruise, destinations, hotels and tour operators. Let us wait and watch what might happen!
